The Siemens WLAN router SL-141

I spent the last half an hour googling the standard settings for the Siemens WLAN router SL2-141, which is for example distributed by Bezeq in Israel and Alice in Germany to their customers.

There should be a lot of manuals – or so I thought. I found a few websites, which said the standard username as well as the password is “admin” – however it wouldn’t give me access to the admin settings.

After reading through a lot of forums I finally found the answer to why the Siemens router wouldn’t accept the login: The ‘A’ in ‘Admin’ has to be upper-case! I know it sounds retardly easy, but this was the first time I ever had a router with upper-case logins.

So, before others have to spend a lot of time to find this, the standard username and a password is “Admin” with a capital ‘A’. The router IP is: http://10.0.0.138/
